Today there are different strategies and methodologies for betting and enjoying roulette. Roulette is the game par excellence among players and if not, tell the iconic character created by writer Ian Fleming, Secret Agent 007, who liked to enjoy this game. In fact, as many of you may know, there is a strategy based on the popular agent James Bond. In addition to this system, there are many others, such as the Martingale, Paroli, Fibonacci, Parlay, Ascot, D’Alembert or Labouchere systems. You will also find advanced roulette strategies. If you want to discover how they work, we recommend that you access our section.
There are other players, mainly the less experienced ones, who prefer not to follow a specific methodology and to follow their instincts. Some players prefer to use their favorite numbers to seek luck and find fortune. Gambling, and in this case roulette, is not an exact science. However, using a strategy will allow you to manage the game more effectively.
However, more experienced players tend to look for other formulas. They use other less popular strategies that get good results, such as advanced roulette strategies. In this case, you bet that the ball will land in a certain sector of the roulette and you bet on certain numbers placed together.
Advanced roulette strategies
Roulette is divided into three main groups or sectors: the neighbors of zero, the orphan numbers and the third of the cylinder. When such a bet is made, the fewest chips possible are used to minimize the risk in the event of not being successful.
Neighboring zero numbers
The original French name is Les voisins du zéro and it is one of the typical bets of French roulette. The bet placed comprises seventeen numbers and nine chips are used. First number to dial is zero. And from there, the eight neighboring numbers of zero both on the right and on the left. The sequence of numbers is as follows: 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2, and 25.
Subsequently, the player will decide the bet: split, trio or corner bet. In the case of hitting, the payouts are as follows: split bet, 17 to 1; trio from 11 to 1, and corner 8 to 1. The odds of winning are 45.9%.

After explaining the strategy of neighboring numbers of zero, we will focus on discovering what the sequence of orphan numbers is. In French it is called Les orphelins. This strategy is made up of just eight numbers: 1, 20, 14, 31, 9, 17, 34 and 6. There are eight numbers included in both sections of roulette.
There are two ways to use this strategy. On the one hand, the use of eight cards used in eight numbers. This is called an orphan strategy. And the other is the orphan numbers on horseback strategy, where only five tiles are used. These five tiles are placed as follows. First is placed at number 1. The second between 6 and 9, the third between 14 and 17, the fourth between 17 and 20 and the last card between 31 and 34. Yes, number 17 you bet twice.
The hit payout is 35 to 1, an orphan strategy on horseback and 17 to 1, an orphan strategy. Odds of winning are 21.6%.

The last bet is the third of the cylinder or Les tiers du cylindre. In this case, a bet is made on twelve numbers located on the side opposite the roulette. The numbers are as follows: 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16, 33. The third cylinder is used as follows. Firstly, six chips are placed following the horse bet methodology. Thus a chip is placed between 5 and 8; another between 10 and 11; another between 13 and 16, also between 23 and 24, the penultimate between 27 and 30 and finally between 33 and 36.
You pay 17 to 1 and the probability of winning is 32.4%.
